Data, purposes and legal bases
We process your identity, contact details, addresses, country, order contents and references, correspondence, payment and delivery references and, for business purchases, company and VAT details. Contract performance is the legal basis for orders, payments, delivery, after-sales service and returns. Legal obligations cover invoices, contract archives, tax and customs formalities and guarantees. Our legitimate interest in website security and protecting our rights covers fraud prevention, technical logs (including IP addresses and connection data) and disputes, using only necessary data. Pre-contract enquiries are processed to respond to them.
Online withdrawal collects your name, email address and information identifying the contract; it is timestamped, retained as evidence and used to send an acknowledgement and handle the request. Availability registration collects, with your consent, your email address, product, source page and registration and update dates; an account identifier is associated if you are logged in. Withdraw this consent at sales@micromarty.com. It is not consent to a general newsletter.
Fields marked required are necessary to handle the relevant request; without them an order or delivery may be impossible. Full card data is collected by Stripe in its payment interface. We receive transaction references and status. We do not request your social security number. We do not use the withdrawal declaration to make automated decisions on your rights.
Providers and recipients
Access is restricted to the seller and authorised providers according to their roles: Stripe for payment and fraud prevention; La Poste/Colissimo and the transport partners actually used for delivery; the hosting provider identified in the legal notice, email, maintenance and accounting services; and tax and customs authorities where required. WordPress and WooCommerce manage the shop on its hosting. VAT-number validation may query VIES. Tracking links may open ParcelsApp, which then receives browsing information and the parcel reference included in the link.
International transfers
Payment, technical services or international delivery may require processing outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States or the delivery country. Stripe’s policy describes its transfers and mechanisms. Transfers by providers processing on our behalf must be covered by an applicable adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards, including European standard contractual clauses and additional measures where necessary; formalities essential to non-EEA delivery may fall under strictly applicable legal exceptions. Contact sales@micromarty.com for country information and a copy of safeguards for the relevant processing. Hosting location and email-service safeguards must be confirmed before commercial opening.
Retention
Accounting records and invoices are archived for ten years after the financial year closes. Electronic contracts worth at least EUR 120 are retained under Articles D.213-1 and D.213-2 for ten years from conclusion if delivery is immediate, or until delivery and then ten years after delivery. Necessary after-sales, withdrawal and complaint data is kept during handling, then in restricted archives for applicable limitation periods, generally five years for protecting rights, extended where a dispute justifies it. Unnecessary data is deleted or anonymised. Inactive availability registrations are purged after twenty-four months without an update. Cart sessions expire according to WooCommerce configuration; limited technical-log and backup periods must be defined with providers before opening.
Your rights
Subject to legal conditions, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability, object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. Erasure cannot remove legally required archives. You may give instructions concerning your data after death under French law. Contact sales@micromarty.com; proportionate identity evidence may be requested where there is reasonable doubt. We normally respond within one month; a further extension of up to two months may be needed for complex requests and will be explained. You may complain to the CNIL or the competent supervisory authority in your country.
Cookies, country and language
Functional cookies support the cart, session, login, country choice and security. The mm_lang cookie remembers the selected language for one year. Cart-content cookies are session-related; wp_woocommerce_session_* identifies the cart session, normally for two days for a guest, depending on configuration. Stripe payment and fraud-prevention cookies may be used during checkout. You can manage cookies in your browser, which may affect the cart or login. Non-exempt advertising or analytics trackers require prior consent and withdrawal as easy as acceptance.
If automatic country detection is enabled, approximate IP-based geolocation may suggest a pricing region; you can correct it using the country selector. Final prices depend on the declared destination. Any use of the GeoLite/MaxMind database serves that estimate and is not GPS location.
